Thanks for visiting my page, I am glad you are here. I’ve spent more than 15 years supporting individuals of all ages and families through life’s toughest and most meaningful transitions. I specialize in trauma, grief, maternal mental health, postpartum support, anxiety, and life challenges. As a long time school social worker, I also love working with teens, young adults, and parents navigating stress, anxiety, identity, impulse control, ADHD, and the emotional impact of today’s digital world—including screen use overwhelm.
A lot of the people I work with describe feeling like they’ve been “holding everything together” but falling through the cracks themselves. Whether you’re a new parent, a caregiver, a teenager struggling to find direction, or someone facing loss or major change—you don’t have to do this alone.
I am a bilingual therapist that has worked with families, children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in healthcare and in mental health facilities.
This has allowed me to gain a different perspective on talk therapy.
I am Licensed in NYS as an LCSW(Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
I have a master's degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University.
It's very difficult to be in stressful situations that can cause lots of anxiety and self-doubt. Perhaps you're looking for something more than advice from family and friends. If you're looking for a warm and inviting counseling atmosphere, I am eager to work with you to develop effective coping skills and a greater self-awareness to reach your full potential. Together, you and I can work to set goals that are appropriate and attainable for you, at your pace. For therapy to be effective for you, I work hard to build genuine and long lasting trust.
I have experience working with clients who have suffered from anxiety, depression, and marital issues. Additionally, I believe that cultural factors are critical to the way we navigate through life. I work hard to address cultural matters, to understand how these may impact our perception of the world.
Call me for a free consultation where we can discuss your needs and goals. For your convenience, I offer online counseling. También, ofrezco servicios en español. Llamame para discutir tus metas.

I am an incredibly empathetic therapist who's joy is to provide a safe space to my clients. I utilize a variety of counseling theories in order to provide services. I am engaging and inquisitive and enjoy invoking humor within the sessions when appropriate.
I believe that peace does not come from your surroundings—it comes from within. It is something you can learn to build and strengthen.
My role is to support and guide you through life’s ups and downs, helping you stay grounded along the way. Whether you are managing ongoing challenges such as Bipolar Disorder or OCD, or going through a difficult and overwhelming season, I am here to help you regain a sense of control and joy.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, creating a safe and supportive space where healing and growth can take place.
In a career that first began twenty years ago in the Middle East and journeyed to NYC, I have seen clients from every conceivable background who have sought nurturing guidance to face trauma, anxiety, grief and sadness. Often, whether working with men and women suffering from loss or separation, abuse victims, veterans, refugees, or families of substance abusers, I have witnessed that moment of clarity in a client when they realize there is actually hope for a better, more satisfying life. This, I believe, is the essence of therapy and I strive to smooth the path towards and beyond it.
My aim is to help my clients recover hope and find the hero within. I focus on deepening client/therapist relationship through insight, empathy, mindfulness, humor, care, creativity and humanity. Furthermore, I am determined these be not just words we throw around, but pointers towards a better life filled with dignity.
I love literature and have a Master's degree in Creative Writing. This, I believe, can be another unique window in one's approach to therapy.
It has been a privilege to walk along side others managing more complex psychological issues and trauma or just helping them talk things out. I am currently offering telehealth services to adolescents (ages 11 and up) and adults. I also work with couples, parents, and families.
My doctoral training and experience in the field for over 20 years allow me to work with a wide range of issues. I have worked in different capacities and settings including as an adjunct professor, supervisor of therapy/ testing, and a psychotherapist in hospitals, universities, and a military behavioral health clinic. I have extensive experience treating depression and anxiety, grief/ loss, relationship concerns, trauma, OCD, chronic health issues, infertility, adjustment/ self-esteem problems in children/ adults, substance use issues, and personal growth.
My goal is to blend evidence based treatment including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and meditation with a warm, caring style. I like to take a holistic approach focusing all aspects of psychological, physical, and spiritual health. I offer culturally competent therapy- welcoming anyone regardless of sexual orientation, ethnicity, and religion. Together we can identify innate strengths and build coping skills to foster long-term wellness and resilience.
I am a LCSW in practice over 15 years. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive, collaborative space. I work with individuals who want to better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop tools to navigate life's challenges. My goal is to help you feel empowered, heard and supported as you move towards meaningful change.
