I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who values creating a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported. I bring both professional training and lived experience into the room, which helps me connect with clients on a genuine level. My background includes working with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I’m especially passionate about supporting clients who have felt misunderstood or silenced, and I aim to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect as we work together.
I love this work. Twenty plus years in the field of psychotherapy, from hospitals, residential treatment, schools, outpatient clinics, crisis teams, to professional teams and now private practice, I offer a wide range of interventions.

I am a therapist, queer woman, sister, friend. When I’ve needed help, it’s been hard to find the type of support I need. So, I’ve dedicated my career to being that person for others. I'm glad you are here, and open to getting help. I work with individuals age 14+ on depression, anxiety, and identity. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ communities, and also have experience treating eating disorders.
Hi, I’m Sheila Taratuta, a licensed therapist (LPC in Colorado, LMHC in Florida) born and raised in Miami with Argentine roots. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. and a trained in EMDR therapist. I work with individuals, partners, couples, and polycules on a variety of issues related to love, sex and relationships. I believe in the ethos of “helping others help themselves”; as a therapist, this is still my greatest strength as well as the cornerstone that has shaped my practice today. My specializations lie in treating those who are exploring their sex lives, whether it be individually or with a partner(s).
My journey towards therapy started in the forests on the Pacific Crest Trail and in the San Juan Mountains as a Wilderness Therapy Guide. I was entranced by people's stories that landed them on the trail, as well as by their takes on life. I decided to get my Master's in Counseling at Adam's State University so that I could professionally hear people's stories. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have experience working with families, couples and individuals ages 12+. I am passionate about helping people manage chronic stress that seems inevitable in the current world we live in.
My background is in dual diagnosis and focus on trauma, I love working with those who desire to heal from their past, challenging negative thinking patterns and behaviors. I work from an IFS and EMDR background, and regularly incoportate T-CBT.
