My name is Corey Tolliver, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including people with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship problems, and fatherhood.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in LGBTQIA+ couples and families. Since 2018, I have worked with individuals and couples facing a variety of mental health and sexual health concerns. As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I provide a supportive space to navigate challenges such as mismatched desire, low libido, performance anxiety, sexual dysfunction, infidelity recovery, intimacy issues, and healing from sexual trauma. I also help clients address concerns related to out-of-control sexual behavior, conflicting identities, and medical or age-related sexual changes. I am knowledgeable about and supportive of a wide range of relationally and sexually diverse communities, including but not limited to those who practice BDSM, Kink, Polyamory, Ethical Non-Monogamy, and Power-Exchange Dynamics. My approach integrates an understanding of co-occurring conditions such as Depression, Anxiety, Complex PTSD, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and a variety of other mental and physical health concerns, ensuring holistic and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique experiences.
I help individuals transform challenges into growth by focusing on resilience and strengths. With a Master’s in Social Work from CSULB, I have extensive experience supporting youth, adults, and those navigating trauma, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. I create a safe, compassionate space to explore your goals and work collaboratively toward healing and confidence. Together, we’ll embrace your resilience and equip you with tools to thrive.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2004. In 2011, I went back to gain my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from Adams State University. After taking a year off to volunteer in Chile, I finished my degree in 2015. My work experience has allowed me to assist a vast amount of individuals, including children and families for over 13 years.
Life is hard, but finding the right therapist shouldn't be! In my practice, I strive to make strong, authentic connections with the people I see to support them in their healing and growth. I take a person-centered and relationship-based approach, utilizing action- and insight-based interventions to help you better understand yourself, life, and take steps towards peace, safety, and happiness. I am a good fit for those looking for empathetic support, to build insight, and to grow and become the best version of themselves.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works primarily with children, adolescents, and families navigating emotional intensity, relational stress, and life transitions. My practice focuses on helping young people feel more regulated, understood, and confident in who they are, while supporting caregivers in strengthening connection and emotional safety at home.
I have training in attachment-based and experiential therapies, including Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and I incorporate trauma-informed approaches to help clients build insight and resilience. I am especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent youth and providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients.
My background includes working with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, family conflict, identity exploration, and emotional dysregulation. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to grow.
I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. I have advanced training in mental health assessment, medication management, and therapeutic support for individuals of all ages. I work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and ADHD. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected.
