For the past 8 years, it has been my privilege to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds to treat anxiety, depression, trauma & general life stress. I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, and psychodynamic therapy, with an emphasis on self-compassion & mindfulness.
I am a New York state and New Jersey state licensed clinical psychologist. I received my doctorate in psychology from Long Island University-Post. I completed an APA accredited internship from Mt. Sinai Services-Elmhurst Hospital Center. I received postdoctoral training from New York University Counseling and Wellness Services. I specialize in working with adults with concerns regarding career, relationships, life transitions, identity, anxiety, eating disorder/body image, and grief/loss.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that therapy works best when it feels like a partnership—not a one-sided process. I approach each session as a space where we work together to better understand your experiences, patterns, and goals.
I’m someone who believes that insight, self-compassion, and nervous system awareness are powerful tools for change and healing. I have experience working with adults navigating the impact of trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder. I help clients uncover unconscious patterns that may be keeping them stuck and work to help them build more choice, connection, and inner calm. I bring warmth, patience, and curiosity to our work together, and I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting—just a willingness to explore.
I've lived in Buffalo my entire life and have attended small colleges here and still love to call Buffalo home. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, but therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be a space where you feel more at home in yourself.
