I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University. My professional background includes working in community health settings, where I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds across a wide range of needs. Through this work, I have developed specialized experience in maternal mental health and a strong understanding of the challenges that can arise during different life stages.
I work with clients of all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences, and strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where each person feels safe, respected, and understood. I have experience supporting individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and personal development, as well as concerns related to identity and relationships.
I believe that the therapeutic alliance is the foundation of successful therapy. I am deeply committed to building a warm, nonjudgmental environment that fosters trust and collaboration. My goal is to ensure that each client feels heard, supported, and empowered as we work together toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 26 years of nursing experience in various capacities, including psychiatric mental health and addiction medicine for the last 8 years. My passion is to walk alongside my patients on their mental health journey, helping them navigate challenges, cultivate lasting wellness, and restore balance for a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Hello, my name is Yvonne Rodriguez and I'm a board-certified psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in the states of Florida and Virginia. I obtained my BA in Psychology from Loyola University and my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of South Florida. My clinical interests include: Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Relationship Issues, Family of Origin Issues, Stress Management and Adjustment Issues. I have been working with individuals, couples and families for over 33 years.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My clients can expect a therapist that is engaged and interactive in the process. I provide feedback during every session and value feedback from the client as well. I believe one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to develop a strong therapeutic alliance.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with adults ages 18-65. I have significant experience working with college age and graduate students.
There is nothing more profound and sacred than our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP), Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist (TF-CBT), and Qualified Supervisor (QS) for the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 1997 from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the field of Psychology. In 2001, I graduated with Honors from Webster University with my Master’s degree in Counseling.
I started my career in 1995 as a Behavior Specialist, working with children and their families. After 10 years of dedicating my time to this population, I ventured out into the unchartered territory of addiction; specifically substance abuse and eating disorder. Since 2014, when I am not providing therapy locally, I travel as a Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC); serving our military families on military installations; in the US and abroad. In 2022, I became certified as a Yoga Teacher and Social Emotional Learning Facilitator.
“I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to listen to ourselves with curiosity
and compassion. My work is grounded, relational, and gently informed by spirituality,
meaning-making, and inner wisdom. I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which
helps clients understand and care for the different “parts” of themselves — especially
those shaped by pain, protection, or survival. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT) to support clients in noticing patterns in thoughts and behaviors and
developing practical tools for everyday life.
I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of North Florida (2011) and a Master’s in
Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University (2023). My clinical experience
includes 13 years working in school settings with at-risk teens, along with several years
in private practice. I’ve worked with Fear Less Therapy, Hall Family Therapy (NC), and
Soul Health Center (NC), supporting individuals and couples through anxiety,
depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, burnout, and major life
transitions. In October 2025, I founded Soul Vibes Counseling Services LLC, where I
continue to offer thoughtful, client-centered care.
I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and strive to create a space that feels calm, welcoming, and
genuine — a place where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out.
Therapy with me is collaborative and paced to your needs, with the goal of helping you
build self-trust, clarity, and a deeper sense of alignment with who you are and what
matters most to you.”
Provides services from holistic and spiritual lens in addition to a cognitive behavioral approach.
I discovered my mission when I realized how powerful and beautiful love is. I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University and proceeded to receive my Master's degree at the University of Central Florida in Marriage, Couples, and Family counseling. My mission is helping others to rediscover who they are and teach them to be secure within themselves so that they can be secure in the relationships they have with others.
I work with individuals, children, and families, helping them rebuild life skills while addressing mental health challenges. I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of South Florida and earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am bilingual in both English and Spanish, and I’ve worked extensively with Hispanic families, making me uniquely suited to address their specific needs.
My additional training includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Integrative Harm Reduction Techniques, and I’m currently undergoing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
