Your story is unique and you deserve to have a safe place to share your experiences without judgement. I am here to provide that safe place for you whether it is In-Person or Telehealth. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and meet them where they are at. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced traumatic events throughout their life. I am ready to be part of your healing journey. Tu estas en control de tu vida, es tiempo de cuidar de ti.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in helping adults, women, veterans, BIPOC, and military families navigate the emotional weight of anxiety, trauma, and burnout. My approach is warm, direct, and deeply collaborative — I believe therapy should feel like a safe conversation with someone who truly gets it.
I use evidence-based modalities such as🧠 Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-CBT); 🧘 Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based Therapies (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy-ACT); and ❤️ Relationship and Family Therapies (Family Systems Therapy). My desire is to help clients begin to heal at the root, not just manage symptoms. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns keeping you stuck and gently shift the beliefs that no longer serve you. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally free — not just in therapy, but in your everyday life.
Whether you're overwhelmed by responsibilities, struggling with relationships, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I offer a judgment-free space to process, grow, and thrive. I provide virtual therapy for clients across Texas and welcome those seeking clarity, resilience, and lasting change.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Texas State University, my Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
With over two decades of experience in education, social services, and mental health, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families on their journey toward healing and recovery. My work focuses on helping clients navigate the effects of trauma and grief, as well as challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, and more. I also have extensive experience working with families with young children, as well as those involved in foster care and adoption.
I am a licensed counselor with 5 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, child abuse and other trauma. I understand the ways in which trauma can shape the perceptions and how it colors reality for the person who experienced it. I believe in the capacity of human beings to recovery and live prosperous and happy lives.
Have you ever felt like you're accomplishing everything but still feel unfulfilled or unsatisfied? Do you give so much of yourself to others that little is left for you at the end of the day? Does your child's behaviors (fighting, defiance, truancy, argumentative) leave you wondering what's really going on beneath the surface. It just might be time to take a deeper look.
I’m Tiana Welch, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, providing telehealth therapy for children, teens, and young adult/adult women. With six years of experience, I have supported clients facing many challenges, including mental health concerns, behavioral issues, and substance abuse. My passion lies in helping children, teens, and families take a deeper look at behaviors to uncover the root causes, and in supporting young adult and adult women as they peel back the layers of perfectionism, burnout, and societal expectations to reconnect with their true selves.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy attending Pilates and spin classes, coloring, painting, reading, and exploring new creative hobbies like learning to sew (this month).
