

I specialize in working with people with Anxiety, Phobias, PTSD, Adjustment Disorders and Codependency. I also work with people on setting and maintaining boundaries, goal-setting, assertiveness training, communication skills, changing thoughts and behaviors and coping skills. I provide support when you are in crisis, need help with parenting skills and work with you to reduce symptoms that affect your everyday life. If you want to incorporate bible scripture or prayer, I am happy to provide this support! If requested, sessions can include walking, movement, meeting inside or outside the office.
We often find ourselves trying to make sense of our lives questioning the past, navigating the present, and worrying about the future. At times, we may not fully understand how we ended up in a particular situation, which can leave us feeling lost, hopeless, or desperate for change. Life is full of transitions, and we are constantly adjusting to change, whether expected or not. These shifts can be difficult and even frightening, especially when they disrupt our sense of stability or identity.
I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health counseling and creating a safe, inclusive space for healing. With a diverse family background and as a proud LGBTQ+ ally and Pagan-friendly therapist, I bring empathy, cultural awareness, and advocacy to my work.
I am an active supporter of social justice, equality, and the Black Lives Matter movement, believing true healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and valued. Outside of therapy, I recharge in nature, camping, enjoying the beach or lake, and traveling. I cherish time with family and friends.
