Jeffrey Ottowitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in both New York and New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida.
With nearly three decades of experience, he has worked with culturally diverse populations across the East Coast, the Midwest, and Hawai‘i in a wide range of psychotherapeutic and community-based settings. His professional background includes trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, substance use recovery, and supporting individuals and families navigating complex emotional and life transitions.
Jeffrey is particularly attuned to the intersection of emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth, working with clients who are seeking a deeper sense of meaning and alignment in their lives. His work supports both traditional therapeutic goals and integrative approaches such as psychedelic integration and mindfulness-based exploration, always within a safe, grounded, and ethical framework.
Hi, I'm Dr. William Yu, a board-certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience providing medication management and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and life transitions.
I went to Stony Brook University for my Masters in Social Work and my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. I have done two post graduate certification programs. One in substance use and another in trauma informed care.
I believe that it is important for every client to understand their story deeper and what their values, beliefs, and core language is like and how impacts there well-being. I believe in the mind-body connection.
My philosophy in mental health counseling is rooted in the belief that change is always possible. Drawing from my 20 years of experience in physical rehabilitation as an occupational therapist, I bring a holistic and body-based understanding to mental health treatment.

He uses a myriad of theory and techniques, including CBT, DBT, interpersonal process therapy, emotion-focused therapy, existential therapy, crisis intervention, mindfulness, narrative therapy, psychodynamic theory, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy (among other modalities).

As a clinical social worker, I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at some point in time. I work with people from many walks of life to get re-centered and back on track. I focus on developing strategies to take care of one self, creating goals and evaluating barriers that get in the way. I help people identify limiting beliefs and heal from past trauma in order to move forward and create the life you desire.
