I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NY. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Ithaca College, and then my Master of Social Work from Binghamton University. I have experience working in college counseling, hospital settings, and non-profits.
For the last 19+ years I've helped some of New York's bravest, most creative beings dial down/alleviate distress of many flavors, shapes and sizes.
I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and a psychotherapist, and in recent years, my practice has evolved to focus on the issues of females throughout the life cycle. I treat females ages 16-70 and male adolescents with anorexia nervosa.
Amanda Osman completed her training in mental health counseling at Holliswood Hospital and at the New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center. Amanda can help you reduce anxious/depressed symptoms, help you find yourself and process negative emotions that are keeping you feeling trapped.
With a little help and support you can find your way to feeling a lot better than you do now. You can find hope and learn more about yourself as a person.
