Introduce yourself to help prospective clients learn about you and your practice. We recommend including your professional background, education and any specific treatment areas you specialize in.
As a therapist rooted in Buddhist principles, my approach respects the innate wisdom each individual possesses. I believe clients are their own best experts in healing, and my role is to support them in uncovering their truths and navigating their journeys toward healing and self-discovery.
I hold a Master's in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, which has enriched my understanding and practice of therapeutic techniques. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Within this sanctuary, we work collaboratively to shift perspectives, fostering greater happiness and joy.
Ultimately, my deepest aspiration as a therapist is to facilitate a healing environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood, not analyzed or rushed. My approach is relational, thoughtful, and collaborative. I take time to really get to know you, your story, and the patterns that have shaped how you think, feel, and relate to others.
I work with individuals and couples who may feel stuck in anxiety, relationship uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, or old wounds that continue to show up in the present. Many of my clients are high functioning, introspective, and self-aware, yet still feel conflicted, exhausted, or disconnected underneath. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

I'm a queer therapist, specialized in working with the LGBTQIA+ community from an anti-oppressive lens.
As a single mom of color, I have witnessed the extreme societal pressure placed on mothers to choose between their career or their children; leaving little room to even provide attention to their own self care. This ignited a passion within me to use my skills to support women to navigate through the chaos. My goal is to work with those women who may need help coping through these very real everyday stressors. Not a mom? That's ok! I can also empathize with the pressure placed on women of color in the workplace to work so much harder than their male counterparts. Its my hope to create a safe space for you to explore these feelings.
It can be challenging at times for women to have access to a therapist who can empathize with their experiences. Through a strengths based approach, I would love to share my personal experience with being a woman of color, a mom, a Christian, as well as a goal oriented professional in non-profit leadership and mental health.
Through this journey, I want you to find a sense of fulfillment, purpose, and self worth and I would be honored to take that walk with you. Our sessions will not be for me to "social work" you, but for you to unload some of the pressure and burden to make the ride a bit easier. No matter what it feels like, you got this... you can do this!
I'm a queer and trans therapist with a background in medical social work and supportive housing. I've worked with people of all ages and backgrounds in individual, couples, and family therapy.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe that attending therapy should be given as much priority as getting enough sleep and drinking water. I've been in the field of social work for just shy of two decades, but it is within the last ten years that my focus has been on individual and group therapy. My main focus is currently on adults between the ages of 35-70 who are struggling with anxiety and depression.
