with 15 years of experience in mental health, I lead a muti-clinician practice of caring professionals dedicated to providing personable, compassionate, solution focused, care. My staff and I take pride in providing services through meaningful connection and research driven approaches.
I use an eclectic approach, based upon a client’s story and their goals for treatment. For individuals, I find myself using client-centered therapy, where a client’s goals are paramount to getting their needs met. I also have seen many clients benefit from the evidence-based practices of EMDR (to work through past trauma) and a therapy technique called Internal Family Systems to help reshape the way we think and behave.
For couples, I use Gottman Couples Therapy and Emotion Focused therapy. I’ve seen couples learn new strategies for connecting with each other, and find ways to enjoy close and connected relationships.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?A client’s experience with me varies, based upon what they need. Sometimes clients do the heavy lifting of taking a look at unresolved trauma from the past. Sometimes, they leave with practical tools for how to reduce anxiety or improve their relationships. Sometimes they leave with the sense of relief, from being accepted and welcomed, just the way they are.

I’m a trauma‐informed therapist who believes healing doesn’t require perfection—just honesty, compassion, and a willingness to take the next small step. Most of the people I work with are balancing careers, relationships, parenting, and the invisible emotional load that comes with everyday life. They’re strong, capable, and exhausted from carrying more than anyone realizes.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m real, relatable, and not the kind of therapist who just nods silently. I show up fully. I help you connect the dots. And I hold space for the parts of you that have been working so hard for so long.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the realities of everyday life and offers nonjudgemental compassionate support, I’d be honored to work with you.
Somewhere along the way, I learned to see the world through attachment-colored glasses. I enjoy exploring relationships, emotions, and our experience of life as a reflection of our attachment organization. I'm curious (in both senses!), love language, enjoy learning from my clients, and promise to make you laugh, if you're brave enough!
With decades of experience, I am well-versed in many different modalities. No one approach works for everyone, so I built a large tool kit to have a broad range of tools available. Areas of expertise include individual, couples and family counseling, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, special needs of gifted and talented, medical social work, impact of illness, traumatic brain injury, grief and bereavement, positive aging, geriatrics and end of life issues. Having been raised in a military family I enjoy working with our veterans, active duty personnel and their families.
