Starting therapy can be intimidating — I hope to help you feel less alone. As a licensed clinical social worker, my approach is grounded in meeting you where you are and helping you move toward empowerment. I support people who feel weighed down by stress or self-doubt to find more calm, confidence, and balance in their lives.
I’m Alicia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and founder of Just Beyond Yourself Therapy. I work with adults and folx navigating trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma (C-PTSD), overwhelming stress, anxiety, or difficulty managing strong emotions, challenges in relationships, life transitions, and those curious about integrating psychedelic experiences. I am certified in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed, with additional training in mindfulness-based therapies and a background in Buddhist psychology. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in mindfulness and compassion, creating a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your inner world, process difficult experiences, and develop tools for emotional regulation, self-compassion, and resilience. I cannot do the work for you, but I can help you navigate it with guidance, compassion, and curiosity.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a background in trauma-informed care, neurodivergence, and complex relational dynamics. I work primarily with adults and older teens who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break, or exhausted from holding it all together.
My work is informed by training in Brainspotting, DBT, OCD, attachment-based therapy, and somatic approaches, alongside traditional talk therapy. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, ADHD, identity exploration, LGBTQIA+, emotional regulation, and relationship stress. I also work with clients navigating burnout, life transitions, and the long-term impact of childhood or relational trauma.
I value therapy that is honest, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment, and I tailor my work to each client’s needs, capacity, and goals.
Reaching out for help is hard to do; I’m glad you’re here. My name is Lisa Orraca and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have 10 years experience working in mental health at all levels of care. I work with clients in California, Colorado, Texas and Florida. I graduated in 2015 from Antioch University Los Angeles with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Do you feel broken, lost or alone? Maybe you’re the one showing up for everyone, or maybe you're constantly on edge, waiting for the next thing to go wrong. It might seem like you’re managing just fine on the outside—but inside, it’s exhausting.
It doesn't have to be this way.
As a former middle school counselor, I love serving youth ages 12-18 navigate issues related to relationships and identity, as well as anxiety and depression. After serving in corporate America for nearly 20 years, I also have experience supporting individuals through various life transitions, stress management, trauma and PTSD.
I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from the University of Colorado and have extensive post-graduate training in trauma informed care and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Additionally, I am an instructor at a psychedelic-assisted therapy training program located in Colorado, Innate Path.
I am passionate about working with individuals who feel stunted by the lingering impact of trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, and early childhood relational wounding.
Feeling stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by past experiences? Whether you're struggling with relationships, self-worth, or navigating grief and loss, therapy can be a powerful space for healing and growth. I specialize in helping individuals work through attachment wounds, life transitions, and the impact of trauma. My approach is collaborative, insight-driven, and action-oriented, so you can not only understand your patterns but also take meaningful steps toward change.
As a professional Hispanic female therapist, I bring not only clinical expertise but also lived experience navigating the complex intersections of ethnicity, womanhood, and societal expectations.
I understand firsthand how cultural dynamics, generational trauma, and systemic barriers can impact our mental health and sense of identity. These challenges have shaped my commitment to holding space for others with empathy, authenticity, and strength.
Many of us carry unresolved trauma, emotional wounds, or limiting beliefs that can manifest as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or cycles we feel stuck in. Whether you're working through past pain, navigating parenting or relationship challenges, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself—I will meet you where you are and walk with you through the healing process.
I couldn’t be happier with my choice of career as a therapist. I decided to make this my career path because I wanted to make a difference for people like you. As someone who has always been told I have a strong sense of empathy and a lack of judgment, I have often been told by my clients that I’m someone who “just gets it.” I love being able to guide people like you to help you become the best version of yourself.
